Now that the calendar has flipped to December and bowl games are still a few weeks out, the college football focus is shifting toward recruiting.
The early signing period begins December 20 and LSU took a big step toward bolstering its 2024 class with the addition of defensive lineman Gabriel Reliford out of Evangel Christian Academy.
Reliford was previously committed to Texas A&M but backed off after Jimbo Fisher was fired and defensive line coach Elijah Robinson accepted the defensive coordinator job at Syracuse. LSU pounced immediately. Reliford officially visited LSU on December 1 and de-committed from A&M on the 3rd.
