BATON ROUGE – LSU men’s basketball coach Johnny Jones and members of the LSU basketball team made a visit to the Louisiana School For the Visually Impaired here Monday and spent time not only entertaining the children, but also learning about some of the issues that face the visually impaired.
Coach Jones spoke to the group and also made a basketball wearing glasses that affected his vision. They also watched and learned how to operate typewriters that printed in braille as well as trying to find their way around the room with a cane and with assistance from students.
