BATON ROUGE –The LSU men’s basketball team continued what is a long-standing holiday tradition by visiting the children’s hospital at Our Lady of The Lake in Baton Rouge.
The annual visit allows the players and coaches to interact with children, parents and the hard-working staff at the local health facility.
As always, the players sang Christmas carols in many of the patient rooms and even sang to a group of nurses at one of the stations on the floor. Coach Johnny Jones and the players autographed basketballs and posters for each of the rooms.
“I think it’s always great for our young men to have an opportunity to give back and be a part of something that we think is really special,” said Coach Jones.
