Early signing day for college basketball began Wednesday and LSU got letters of intent from two members of its 2021 signing class which is currently ranked 10 nationally.
Jerrell Colbert, a center from Germantown, Tenn., and Brandon Murray, a shooting guard from Baltimore, both signed with LSU on the first day of the early signing period. Colbert is a four-star prospect and the No. 46 player overall in the 2021 recruiting class; Murray is a three-star and ranked No. 225 overall.
Colbert played his junior season in San Antonio and averaged 12 points and 11 rebounds; he’ll finish his high school career at Houston High School, which is about half an hour outside of Memphis.
