BATON ROUGE-- After a 14 day pause from game action, the Tigers rallied late in the second half Tuesday night in the Maravich Center to defeat North Carolina Central, 70-66.
With the win, the Tigers improved to 6-2 on the season while NCCU fel to 6-5. LSU returns to action Saturday at home in the PMAC against Texas Southern at 5 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
Junior Duop Reath led all scorers with 27 ponts. Junior Craig Victor II led the Tigers wiht 11 boards, and freshman Skylar Mays had four assists.
