Baton Rouge, La. – The LSU track and field team is ranked No. 2 on the men's side and No. 6 on the women's side in the third installment of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association rankings that were released Monday morning.
It's the highest ranking of the season for both the men and women as they each moved up one spot from the previous week's rankings. The men boosted up to No. 2 thanks in large part to the performances of Noah Williams and Sean 'Squirrel' Burrell in the 400 meters on Saturday at the Charlie Thomas Invitational.
