Programs around the SEC and elsewhere are offering condolences after the death of LSU’s longtime tiger mascot, Mike VI.
Mike the Tiger died Tuesday after a battle with a rare form of cancer, known as spindle cell sarcoma. The disease was diagnosed in May.
Messages of support have poured in, both from LSU fans and students as well as other mascots, including those in the SEC.
