Baton Rouge, La. – Tonea Marshall and JuVaughn Harrison won individual titles at the annual LSU Thanksgiving Pentathlon which was held on Tuesday afternoon at the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse. Marshall registered a total 309 points and Harrison scored 414 points to claim victory.
The annual Thanksgiving Pentathlon is held on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving at the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse and serves as a test for the track and field athletes. The pentathlon is made up of five different events; the 30-meter dash, standing long jump, standing triple jump, between the legs forward shot put, and overhead backward shot throw.
