LSU’s travel to Lambeau: Cars, planes, trucks … and maybe hitchhiking

LSU fans are taking cars, planes and trucks to Lambeau Field. But Les Miles says LSU players who try the “Lambeau Leap” in Saturday’s season-opener may need to enroll in Hitchhiking 101 to return to Baton Rouge.

“I promise you that if anybody jumps the Lambeau Leap, they’ll end up with their thumb out to see if they can get a ride home,” Miles said during Wednesday’s SEC coaches’ teleconference.

More than 1,100 miles of hitchhiking – an interesting but basically non-ideal way to get from Lambeau Field back to Baton Rouge.

LSU’s fans have other ways of reaching Saturday’s season opener at Lambeau Field.
