Following a sweep of Mississippi State and a midweek victory over Northwestern State, two LSU players earned weekly SEC honors the conference announced Monday.
Shortstop Kramer Robertson was named Player of the Week while pitcher Zack Hess earned co-Freshman of the Week honors.
Robertson went 10-of-19 with two doubles, one triple, one home run, three RBI and added eight runs to his SEC-leading total. In LSU's last 14 games, in which the Tigers are 14-2, Robertson has hit .367 with a .435 on-base percentage.
Hess made two appearances out of the bullpen for the Tigers against Mississippi State to help earn the sweep.
