Kramer Robertson could have fun playing baseball again Friday with a three-hit night that included a home run over the bleachers beyond left field at Alex Box Stadium.
"It was just enjoyable," the LSU senior said of the 7-4 victory against Texas A&M that evened the three-game series ahead of Saturday's finale.
Before Friday, Robertson had been mired in a 1-for-25 hitting spell over six games and the Tigers had lost four of their last five. On Friday, Robertson played a big part in helping LSU have what felt like a breakout game.
Robertson legged out a two-run double on a chopper that bounced over the third baseman's head in the third inning and later muscled a home run off a 3-1 fastball in the seventh.
