The first four-hit game for LSU freshman Josh Smith came with one scary moment when he took a pitch off the right hand in the fifth inning of Wednesday's 5-4 loss at McNeese State.
"Right when it happened I was kind of nervous, I thought something bad happened but I got pretty lucky," Smith said. "It kind of hit my knuckle a little bit, swelled up. But other than that it's all good."
