LSU's future offenses certainly won't be Canada Dry

There has been a prevailing rumor that LSU's annual football signing day Bayou Bash celebration in February will feature Widespread Panic.

No, not the Athens, Georgia-based Southern rock band, but rather a barometer of how Tigers' fans feel about new coach Ed Orgeron's first signing class if recruiting commitments like high school quarterbacks Myles Brennan and Lowell Narcisse continue walking out the door for the next 11/2 months.

Orgeron will take a long-awaited step this morning - probably too lengthy while having his loyalty played by alleged friend and Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin - toward plugging the recruiting bleeding by hiring Pittsburgh's Matt Canada as the Tigers' new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
