When LSU was recruiting David Ducre out of Lakeshore High School, they told him he could be a running back or a fullback when he made it to Baton Rouge.
At the time, Ducre was in the midst of a huge senior season for the Titans as he finished it rushing for 1,586 yards and 21 touchdowns.
But Ducre, who was already in the 230-pound range as a high school running back, was rated as the No. 1 fullback in the country. So when he arrived on campus, he was shifted fulltime to running back.
