The gap between No. 1 and No. 2 may have closed, but Ben Simmons remains the top prospect in the 2016 NBA Draft, according to ESPN.
LSU's highly touted point forward led off analyst Chad Ford's updated "top 100" list released Tuesday evening.
The 6-foot-10 Simmons, listed as a "top 2 pick," maintained the edge over Duke's Brandon Ingram in that regard, with Croatian power forward Dragan Bender and Kentucky guard Jamal Murray joining Ingram with "top 5 pick" projections.
"If Philly lands the No. 1 pick, Ingram fits more of a need, but Simmons has a higher upside," Ford wrote.
