LSU improved to 15-4 while Texas fell to 12-7.
The Tigers trailed by 10 at the half, but Texas cranked up the pressure in the second half and took a two-point lead with a three-pointer from Matt Coleman III with 4:52 left to play. From there, the game was neck and neck.
