LSU wide receiver Malachi Dupre chooses to leave early for NFL Draft

The LSU Tigers were hoping that wide receiver Malachi Dupre would follow DJ Chark’s route to come back for his senior season in Baton Rouge. That is not the case.

Dupre announced his decision with a nearly two minute long video on Twitter.

The LSU underclassman wide receiver is coming off a strong performance in the Citrus Bowl against Louisville where he pulled in seven catches for 139 yards. He finishes his college career with 98 catches for 1,609 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Dupre is projected to be a third round NFL draft selection according to CBSSports.
