After beginning their 2015 campaign against a pair of SEC West opponents, the LSU Tigers (2-0) finally get their non-conference schedule underway on Saturday against the Syracuse Orange (3-0) at the Carrier Dome.
LSU enters the game with an abundance of confidence after blowing out Auburn 45-21 last weekend, a game in which the Bayou Bengals thoroughly dominated their opponent.
They won the turnover battle, racked up 411 rushing yards and out-gained Auburn by 215 total yards. Leonard Fournette set a career high in rushing yards with 228, along with tying a career-best three touchdowns. Fournette’s offensive line did a tremendous job creating running lanes, and quarterback Brandon Harris continued to show signs of improvement despite a limited number of pass attempts.
