The Carolinas have been dealing with massive flooding in the wake of Hurricane Joaquin. Among the communities to be impacted by this tragic event has been the Columbia, S.C. area: home of the South Carolina Gamecocks.
The Gamecocks were scheduled to host the LSU Tigers this weekend at Williams-Brice Stadium, but the roles have been reversed. LSU will now be welcoming Steve Spurrier and the South Carolina football program to Baton Rouge, LA., as Saturday’s contest has been relocated to Tiger Stadium.
South Carolina Athletics Director Ray Tanner said the following in a press release, per SECsports.
