After having their season opener cancelled due to inclement weather, the college football season is finally set to get underway for the LSU Tigers. The Bayou Bengals head to Starkville, Miss. this Saturday for a showdown with the Mississippi State Bulldogs at Davis Wade Stadium, in what has the potentential for a thrilling matchup.

When the two teams met last season, the Bulldogs ended a 14-year losing streak to the Tigers. Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott compiled 373 total yards and three touchdowns, leading his team to a 34-29 victory in a game that was not as close as the scoreboard would indicate.
