It wasn’t pretty. There were turnovers, special teams gaffes and, per usual, an abundance of penalties.
But the LSU Tigers pulled out yet another victory over the Texas A&M Aggies. And if this truly is the end of the Les Miles era, the Mad Hatter wouldn’t have it any other way.
Freshman running back Derrius Guice put the Tigers on top with a 50 yard touchdown run off a reverse in the third quarter. His sophomore backfield mate Leonard Fournette added to the lead with a fourth quarter touchdown run. And with time running out for Texas A&M, freshman cornerback Donte Jackson hauled in a highlight-reel interception to cap off an LSU victory.
