LSU signee Nick Storz of Poly Prep Country Day in Brooklyn was picked in the 31st round with the 935th overall pick Wednesday by the Detroit Tigers in the 2017 MLB Draft.
The 6-foot-6, 245-pound Storz has the potential to pitch or play the outfield at the next level.
However earlier in the day, Storz, a top-200-caliber player, tweeted that he would be attending LSU.
