LSU senior TE Colin Jeter finishing up a family-oriented journey

BATON ROUGE, La. –It’s August, which means questions about LSU’s tight ends are inevitable.

Will that group be a bigger part of the offense in 2016? Will the ball get thrown in the general direction of a talented set of players who often get overlooked? Why aren’t tight ends utilized more in an offense that seems like it should be perfect for short, safe routes? Colin Jeter has heard the barrage in each of his first two seasons with the program and has the answers down to a science.

Last season, Jeter turned in the most productive numbers for an LSU tight end since 2011, so it makes sense that he gets peppered with those inquiries.
