LSU senior Kade Scivicque is on the new watch list released Tuesday for the 2015 Johnny Bench Award, given annually by the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission to the nation's top Division I catcher.
The watch list will be narrowed down to the semifinalists, whom will be announced on May 14. Ballots will be sent to the national voting panel at the end of May for a vote to determine the three finalists. The finalists will be announced on June 2, and a final vote among the national committee will occur during the College World Series.
Scivicque is LSU's leading hitter this season, batting .
