LSU released select statistics following its third spring scrimmage of the 2017 season on Saturday afternoon. It was held in Tiger Stadium.
Reporters are not permitted to watch any portion of the team’s scrimmages so all provided numbers came strictly from Tigers coach Ed Orgeron.
Running back Derrius Guice returned from an ankle injury to play in the scrimmage, while wide receiver D.J. Chark did not play because of his own ankle injury.
Based on the numbers, LSU had a better offensive performance in its spring scrimmage last week, which was held indoors because of rain.
