Former LSU starting quarterback Brandon Harris, who had announced earlier that he planned to finish his career with the Tigers, apparently has reconsidered. He announced his decision to transfer Monday on Twitter.

He has been granted a full release and will be immediately eligible at another FBS program this fall if he graduates this spring or summer. He would be eligible immediately at an FCS program regardless of whether he graduates.
Harris was LSU’s starter in 2015 and began the ’16 season in that same role before losing the job to Danny Etling.
