The worst kept secret in Baton Rouge was confirmed Thursday when LSU (finally) released the uniforms that had been teased a week ago and had been floating around the internet since Monday.
And as always, they are fresh.
The uniforms for the most part serve as a tribute to the “Silent Season” in 1918 when the school suspended football program to fight in World War I. There are no nameplates on the back to honor the Unknown Soldiers lost in combat.
