Former LSU linebacker Kendell Beckwith is making good progress in his recovery from a torn ACL.
Mack Chuilli, CEO and head trainer at Traction Sports Performance, said Wednesday on 104.5 FM’s “After Further Review” in Baton Rouge that Beckwith is “way ahead of schedule.”
“He can do everything. He can run, cut, change direction, jump,” Chuilli said.
Beckwith, who suffered the injury against Florida on Nov. 19, has been rehabbing and training at Traction, which is located in Baton Rouge, in preparation for the upcoming NFL draft.
Despite his progress, though, Beckwith elected not to participate in drills at LSU’s pro day Wednesday as he continues to work to get himself back to full strength.
