Former Cincinnati forward Tari Eason announced on his Twitter Tuesday that he would be transferring to LSU.
Eason will be eligible to play next season due to the NCAA passing a rule that allows one-time immediate eligibility for all athletes.
Eason was named to the AAC’s all-freshman team last season after averaging seven points and five rebounds in 23 games. Where Eason is best is on the defensive end, ranking fourth in the American Athletic Conference in blocked shots with 1.4 a game. Eason also averaged 1.3 steals last season.
