LSU Holds on to Defeat Arkansas, 79-77

Baton Rouge, La. – Trendon Watford sank a jumper and hit a free throw to complete the three-point play as LSU held on to claim a 79-77 victory over Arkansas Wednesday night in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. LSU improves to 10-4 on the season and 2-0 in SEC play. Arkansas drops to 12-2 and 1-1 in the SEC.

Freshman forward Trendon Watford finished with a team high 21 points and nine rebounds. Senior guard Skylar Mays scored 19 points. He also had four boards. Sophomore forward Darius Days pulled in a career high 16 rebounds.
