LSU holds off Syracuse: Highlights, recap and more

Sophomore running back Leonard Fournette delivered a Heisman-worthy performance on Saturday, but it was a newfound passing attack that allowed the LSU Tigers to ensure a ——— victory over the Syracuse Orange.

Syracuse kept the game much closer than expected, trailing by four points at halftime. LSU extended its lead in the third quarter, but the Orange managed to close the gap to seven points with just over 12 minutes remaining.

The Tigers’ passing attack came alive on the ensuing possession, however, and LSU would take control of the game for good.

Brandon Harris connected with Travin Dural, who made an acrobatic catch 51 yards down the field, the longest completion of the season for the Tigers.
