BATON ROUGE – The tenth-ranked LSU Tigers close the regular season Saturday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center against Vanderbilt with a chance to win the school’s first regular season Southeastern Conference title since 2009 on the line.
The Tigers, 25-5 overall and 15-2 in the SEC, and the Commodores will meet in a sold-out Maravich Center at 7:30 p.m. in the final SEC game of the season. Vanderbilt is 9-21 and 0-17 in the league.
The Tigers enter Saturday tied for the league lead with Tennessee. The Volunteers will play at Auburn on ESPN at noon with that game setting the stage for what will happen in Baton Rouge that night.
