Five-star Georgia quarterback Justin Fields is being sought after by many SEC programs, including LSU, and the 2018 prospect just reopened his recruitment late Tuesday night by decommitting from Penn State.
LSU, Alabama, Florida, Auburn and Georgia are all recruiting the 6-foot-3, 220-pounds Fields, who was just recently selected selected to the Elite 11 at The Opening held June 28-July 3 in Beaverton, Ore., at Nike's world headquarters. Parkway QB Justin Rogers, a TCU commit and LSU target, also advanced to The Opening.
In a message posted on Twitter, Fields called the decommitment the "hardest decision" he's ever had to make.
