LSU football received a huge commitment recently when 2022 four-star running back TreVonte’ Citizen announced his intentions to play for the Tigers.
Citizen, 6-foot/217 lbs from Lake Charles, LA (Lake Charles College Prep), is ranked in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 11 running back in the country and the No. 10 player in Louisiana.
The Louisiana native committed to the Tigers over offers from Auburn, Michigan, Ole Miss, Texas, Texas A&M, and USC, among many others.
247Sports midland region recruiting analyst Gabe Brooks says Citizen is a “pure football player who projects to the Power Five level at running back with [the] potential to become an impact starter”.
