LSU football’s Joe Burrow made a good move recently by calling up legendary quarterback Peyton Manning for some advice on how to handle being a rookie in the NFL.
Manning, who was selected by the Indianapolis Colts with the No. 1 overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft, told ESPN on Sunday that Burrow called and asked what some of the things were that the former Tennessee Vols quarterback did in 1998 that Burrow could apply in 2020.
“If you’re the first pick in the NFL draft, you are going to a team that has earned the first pick in the NFL draft”, said Manning.
