Week 1 of the LSU football season was unsatisfying for the players, coaches and fans.
After having the season opener against McNeese State canceled less than five minutes into the first quarter, fans of the Bayou Bengals feel like the high school kid who just took a hot girl out on a first date, only to return home disappointed with the outcome of the evening. But at least there is a second date, also known as Week 2 of the college football season.
That second date will come with the Mississippi State Bulldogs, as the Tigers travel to Starkville’s Davis Wade Stadium for a showdown with the team that handed the Tigers their first letdown of the 2014 season.
