LSU football has lost quite a few important components to their program this week.
Numerous key players have declared for the draft and two assistants — passing game coordinator Joe Brady and defensive coordinator Dave Aranda — have left the program to take new jobs.
This is just how it goes in college football. Success is almost always followed by attrition.
But new coaches and new players will soon be in the mix.
One of those players could be 2021 four-star safety Kaine Williams, who has LSU among his top six schools.
I want to thank all the schools who have recruited me so far.
