With Joe Brady reportedly heading to the Carolina Panthers, it means Ed Orgeron will have a spot to fill on his LSU football coaching staff.
Replacing Brady won’t be easy.
The young assistant is said to be largely responsible for LSU’s dynamic offense in 2019, as well as the development of quarterback Joe Burrow.
In 2018, without Brady, Burrow passed for just over 2,800 yards and 16 touchdowns.
This past season, under Brady’s guidance, saw Burrow toss for over 5,600 yards for 60 touchdowns.
That’s mind boggling.
While it might be impossible to replace Brady’s influence on the staff, the Tigers fortunately have a great option already on their staff that could step into his role.
