There’s really no way around it for LSU football in 2020 — Joe Burrow simply can’t be replaced.
Burrow’s 2019 season was one of the most dominant seasons we’ve seen from a quarterback in college football history.
Over 5,000 passing yards and 60 touchdowns against only six interceptions, while leading LSU to a 15-0 season, is something we may never see again from a quarterback.
But while LSU won’t have Burrow in 2020 (enjoy him, Bengals), they’ll have the next best thing.
Myles Brennan.
I don’t expect Brennan to explode for Burrow-like numbers this season, but I wouldn’t be shocked if he finishes the season as the top quarterback in the SEC.
