LSU football offensive lineman Lloyd Cushenberry was advised to not enter the 2020 NFL Draft.
According to The Advocate, the draft grade that Cushenberry received was the equivalent of “go back to school and try again in 2021”.
Cushenberry declared for the draft anyway.
And it looks like he made the right decision.
Cushenberry, who started 28 straight games at center for LSU, has been impressive this week at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL.
So impressive, in fact, that he was voted as one of the South Squad’s offensive practice players of the week.
