LSU football’s Ja’Marr Chase was the best wide receiver in the country in 2019.
And he was only a sophomore.
The Tigers will fortunately get another year of Chase in Baton Rouge, before he undoubtedly heads to the NFL after the 2020 season.
While it will be disappointing to see Chase leave LSU, fans of the Tigers should just be happy he ended up signing with his home state school.
The New Orleans native originally committed to Kansas, before committing to Florida in 2017.
Chase initially stuck with his commitment to the Gators when Jim McElwain was fired as Florida’s head coach.
