LSU football received some good news on Sunday, picking up a commitment from four-star running back Kevontre Bradford.
The Texas native is LSU’s first running back commit in its 2020 recruiting class.
Bradford, 6-foot/190 lbs, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 21 player in the state of Texas and the No. 15 running back in the nation. He committed to LSU over Oklahoma State and Texas.
LSU was pursuing former Georgia signee Zach Evans at one point, but they decided to pivot to Bradford. That was a smart move on LSU’s part, because Evans can’t sign another NLI.
