When the LSU football program announced late last week that wide receivers coach Tony Ball would be leaving the Tigers, the team was left with a void to fill in a passing attack that aspires to take a step forward in 2016.
They wasted no time in doing so. LSU announced on Sunday that it had hired Dameyune Craig as the team’s new wide receivers coach. At the time, Craig held the same position at Auburn.
Craig is regarded as an elite recruiter with experience coaching both quarterbacks and receivers. His versatility and thorough understanding of all facets of the passing game will be a tremendous boost for the Tigers.
