LSU football is the place to be right now for defensive ends (thanks to the presence of Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron), which should make becoming a factor for four-star defensive end Shemar Turner a bit easier.
Turner, 6-foot-4/260 lbs from DeSoto, TX, is ranked in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 32 player in the state of Texas and the No. 15 strong side defensive end in the nation.
Rivals recruiting analyst Sam Spiegelman recently “ranked the contenders” for Turner and he has LSU as the fifth most likely program to land the talented defensive end.
