Former LSU football wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase could end up being the first receiver selected in the 2021 NFL Draft (depending on where Alabama’s Devonta Smith lands).
And that shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Chase’s 2019 season was one of the best seasons ever by a wide receiver.
The Louisiana native caught 84 passes for 1,780 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Chase opted out of the 2020 season, but his status as a top player in the 2021 NFL Draft was solidified this week with a strong showing at LSU’s pro-day.
