LSU football announced earlier this week that redshirt senior quarterback Myles Brennan is out indefinitely after suffering an arm injury that required surgery.
(Brennan had the surgery on Tuesday.)
Brennan suffered a broken left arm while preparing for a fishing trip on Sunday night.
According to Brennan’s father, Owen, the young quarterback got his flip flop caught on a loose board, causing him to fall. His father, who was speaking to WWL-FM 105.3 on Wednesday, said Brennan was unable to brace his fall because his hands were full of fishing equipment.
