LSU football head coach Ed Orgeron has always saw something special in quarterback Joe Burrow.
That’s the reason he brought Burrow to Baton Rouge in 2018 as a graduate transfer.
But there was a moment this past season when Coach O started seeing Burrow in a different light.
And that moment came in LSU’s 37-10 blowout win against the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship game.
Burrow was a magician against the Bulldogs in Atlanta that evening, completing 28 of 38 passes for 349 yards and four touchdowns.
Orgeron said it was during that game that he went from being a head coach to a fan, as he was dazzled by Burrow’s performance on one of the biggest stages in college football.
