LSU football head coach Ed Orgeron hit a grand slam last off-season when he hired Joe Brady away from the New Orleans Saints to help revolutionize the Tigers’ offense.
But after one season in Baton Rouge, Brady make the leap back to the NFL — to become the Carolina Panthers’ offensive coordinator.
LSU’s offensive success in 2019 wasn’t entirely due to Brady’s influence, but it’s obvious that he made a major impact on quarterback Joe Burrow and the rest of the Tiger offense.
And now Orgeron has to find a way to replace the wonder kid.
