LSU football head coach Ed Orgeron was obviously thrilled the Tigers went 15-0 and won a national championship this past season.
But that doesn’t mean Coach O is satisfied.
Orgeron is constantly looking forward, working to improve LSU’s football team.
That’s why it shouldn’t be a surprise that Coach O pointed out the “downside” of winning the national championship in January.
Orgeron told reporters on National Signing Day that playing in the College Football Playoff championship put the Tigers “behind a week or so in recruiting” (this year’s national championship game was played a week later than last year’s).
