LSU football head coach Ed Orgeron never passes up an opportunity to offer praise for quarterback Joe Burrow.
And it’s easy to see why. Burrow’s incredible 2019 season is directly responsible for LSU’s 15-0 season and their win against Clemson in the national championship game.
In those 15 games, Burrow passed for 5,671 yards and 60 touchdowns with only six interceptions. I know I’ve said it a lot over the last few months, but those numbers are insane. I’ve typed those stats out many times since the end of the season and I’m still in disbelief every time I see them.
